SJW Fitness Trend Series: RowZone

A couple weeks ago, I announced the start of the SJW Fitness Trend Series and I am so excited to finally unveil the first post and episode.

My goal when I set out on this new journey was to try workouts that took me out of my comfort zone, so when Meaghan (my Operations Director) suggested I visit RowZone I thought - how the heck am I going to go on a rowing machine for 45 minutes straight? I have the attention span of a gnat, so to me, it sounds b-o-r-i-n-g! Well, let me tell you - boy, was I wrong. I had an absolute blast at my class and was proven wrong about all the misconceptions I had on rowing classes. First off, you are not sitting on the machine for 45 minutes straight, the class is a combination of rowing AND full body toning exercises. There is nothing monotonous about it at all, every class they teach is different from the last, and it is oh so much fun.

I also have to add, not only was my instructor Laura awesome, but the people taking the class were too. They made me feel welcome even though it was my first class. If you are looking for a social atmosphere and group support, this is definitely the program for you.

If you don’t believe me, just watch the video below where I interview RowZone-er, Carolyn. She does an even better job of talking about the “RowZone” experience.

Trust me, you are going to love it.
