Positive Affirmations - Do You Do iT?

Hey gang- we’re talking about positive affirmations today! It can really help you get going if you do it right. I know, you might think it’s all cheesy, but there’s a secret - it only works when you believe them!

In my book Train Your Head & Your Body Will Follow, I talk about the importance of making your own power statement. It’s similar to positive affirmations. Your power statement should explain, what ignites you? What makes you feel good?

In order to make this work, you really have to think about something positive about the situation. Let’s say there’s something you want to work on. You’re going to create a power statement. You can say it in your head or write it down, but you’re going to do it for next 30 days.

The great thing about a power statement is that you can use it on anything. Whenever you have a situation that you need to work on, you can create a power statement on it. Also, you’re in charge of it - so don’t forget to have fun with it!

My positive affirmation for this week is, I eat and move to feed my body and soul. What’s yours?
