Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who's the Prettiest of Them All?
I am I am. I am beautiful inside and out. I just love me... all of me. Wouldn't that be great if we truly felt that way. Ok gals this blog is for you.
Time to get real and strip away that layer between you and your mirror. I want you to really take a long look at your incredible unique face and find all the beauty. Yes that's right, I want you to not find fault. I don't want to hear about your wrinkles or zits or nose. I want you, at least once to find all the great stuff. How cool would that be if you actually were happy with that face and then we added some makeup?
That would truly be a magical kingdom and life would be so joyful. Hey let's go crazy for a day and take some tips from Alicia Key and not wear make up for just a day. How empowering?
Then follow some of Kristen’s awesome tips. Kristen is the real deal and knows her stuff. She definitely makes you feel so special and her makeup is just an addition to your already awesome face. She listens to you and works her magic for what you want.
Enjoy and have fun.
How to find the right brow product for you
Brow Pencil: Pencils are great for the troubled, over-tweezed brows that have holes or sparse areas. The fine point allows you to fill in the exact areas and brush out the excess product for a natural-looking brow.
Brow Gel: Gel is used to set the look and hold brows in place just like you would use hairspray to set and hold your hairstyle.
Brow Powder: This is best for making your brow look fuller and add more definition.
Brow Wax: Wax is a good primer to use underneath a product to make it last longer.
Makeup on the go
Mascara is one of the most transformative items in any makeup bag, but sometimes you just don't have time to wiggle the wand, de-clump, and wait for it to dry. To open up your eyes without spending time applying mascara, an eyelash curler is a must. Curled lashes frame and define eyes and have an effect similar to mascara, but you don't have to worry about smudges when you're in a hurry.
If you're a person who looks more polished when your eyebrows are done, make them a priority. But instead of taking the time to fill in both brows in their entirety, simply dot a brow pencil onto those few sparse areas to even things out, then coat them with a tinted brow gel (or clear mascara) for a natural, but still groomed, look on the go.
The eyes are a dead giveaway that you didn't have time in the morning or enough sleep. If this sounds like you, focus your time on your eyes to ensure you look awake and rested. Apply concealer to the eyelids and undereye to conceal redness and dark circles then set with a touch of translucent powder.
When in doubt, use a bronzer for a quick, healthy flush.
Between lip gloss, lip liner, lipstick, and lip balm there is so many options and combinations. Pick a product that combines all of the above, like a moisturizing lip-gloss crayon, and you can swipe on some quick color, no mirror required.
