Quick and Easy Workouts: The RIGHT Way to do a Lunge
Autumn is finally here, and what are you doing now that you're not running in the sun, kicking in the pool, or dancing at the last outdoor music festival? Squeezing in some daily workouts can be tough now that we're getting back into the swing of things with work and the kids school schedules, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. In fact, the best workouts can be done in 3-5 minutes, even a single minute can make a difference if you use it to work out your body!
For October, we're going to focus on lunges--they're great, can be done almost anywhere, and are an excellent workout to the core, legs, the glutes (hello, better hips and butt!), thighs, and calves.
Here, I show my assistant Nicole how to do a proper lunge. She hasn't done a lunge before, so it goes to show that anyone can learn how to do it the right way. I also teach her a couple of tricks to keep in mind whenever you start with your lunges, to make sure you're doing them the right way. Check out the video above!
